This wagon road, including early residents and land grants. Dogstreet Road is a very old road, with roots going back to the French and Indian War, 1754-1763. Gen. Braddock was said to have used part of that road to take his troops west to Fort Duquesne (Pittsburgh). Among his men was George Washington, a young surveyor. The road was also used during the Civil War.
Dogstreet was founded by Lynn Routzahn, Lloyd Yavener and Mark Dorosh. Three long-time friends who have known each other in excess of 45 years. With a combined 150 years of performing experience you can be certain they know what they are doing.
